Find the Latest Version Number
A popular version labeling convention for software is in the format:
{major}.{minor}.{bug} where each is a number *this is known as Semantic Versioning

You are implementing a sophisticated library dependency management tool that has a feature which always chooses the latest version of a library. You are passed the contents of directory in the form of a list of strings, and should return the most recent version from that set. It's possible for there to be poorly formatted strings, or null values: they should just be discarded. If all inputs are problematic, then you should return an empty Optional.
